First EU Center of Nuclear Fuel

The First EU Center of Nuclear Fuel was founded in 2017 to consolidate people, natural and financial resources in establishment of a new vertically integrated Holding Corporation in Nuclear Industry based on private investments and innovation approaches. The First EU Center of Nuclear Fuel is a member of ARIS GROUP group of companies.. ARIS GROUP members and affiliated organisation have been working in the EU (Czech, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia), Ukraine, Russia, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia and Republic of Burundi.

OLEKSANDR STRAKHOV
Founder

Dr. Strakhov was graduated from Donetsk Institute of Economics and Humanities in 1998, in 2006 - Donetsk National University. In 2009 he finished postgraduate study in National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine and was awarded a degree of PhD in public administration. Since 1999 Mr. Strakhov is the founding shareholder and CEO at ARIS GROUP, a scientific, producing and commercial holding, an active participant of energy market of Ukraine. ARIS GROUP as well as Dr. Strakhov personally are many year supporters to a number of charitable and public non-commercial projects.

PETRO CHERNOV
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mr. Chernov graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in 1993. He worked at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna City), Zhovti Vody Scientific and Technical Center, Westinghouse Electric Company, State Enterprise National Atomic Energy Generating Company “Energoatom”, Ukrainian-Kazakhstan-Russian joint venture for nuclear fuel production (JSC UKRTVS). From 2010 to 2014 he was a Director of Nuclear Energy and Atomic Industry Department at the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. Mr. Chernov headed the delegation of Ukraine during the summits of the IAEA, OECD, Nuclear Supplier Groups, was co-chair and participant of intergovernmental and interstate working groups. He is an author of scientific articles and patents in the field of accelerator technology and nuclear fuel production.

GALINA NAUMENKO
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ms. Naumenko received higher education in two areas: Master Degree in Quality Management, Standardization, Metrology and Certification, and a specialist geologist (DonNTU). She attended training programs in Civil Political School, British Council, Advance. Ms. Naumenko managed the function of corporate communications of international MICE agency. She led administrative and foreign activity in SPP LLC, DDK LLC, ARIS GROUP Good Pellet.

YURIY SHEVCHENKO
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

Mr. Shevchenko was graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1995, and finished postgraduate studies in International Institute of Economics and Politics of Russian Academy of Science in 1997. Mr. Shevchenko held executive positions in energy and mining companies in Russia, Moldova, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan and South Africa

KATERINA KONSTATINOVA
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Katerina brings to ARIS more than 10 years of experience establishing, managing and maintaining international programs and projects in the area of nuclear safety and radioactive waste management. Most recently she served as a Project manager and Technical Expert managing 8 projects and 1 Program in the European Commission’s Nuclear Safety Program for Ukraine. Prior to the European Commission’s Program, she spent almost 7 years working for the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, which she left in 2013 being in the position of Head of Spent Nuclear Fuel, Radioactive Waste Management and Decommissioning Division. Katerina’s responsibilities in the Ministry covered extensive areas related to Nuclear Regulatory Support, Nuclear Fuel Management, Radioactive Waste Management, Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, IAEA Safeguards and Accounting for and Control of Nuclear Material. Katerina led a number of the IAEA technical groups dedicated to development and implementation of the safety guides on remediation and decommissioning of nuclear sites. In 2007 she graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» as an Energy Engineer and International University of Finance as a specialist in Economics of Enterprises.

ILLIA ILINSKYI
R&D DIRECTOR

Illia joined ARIS team with over 15 years of experience related to the management of the fresh and spent nuclear fuel and its components: from procurement, supply and acceptance on-site to maintenance and preparation for storage. He worked for the South-Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant more than 9 years starting his way as Assistant of Nuclear Safety Division and moving then to the position of Engineer of Nuclear Safety Division on accounting and control of nuclear materials. He continued his career in the subdivision of NNEGC Energoatom “Scientific and Technical Center” where got a 5-year technical experience in development and approval with governmental organizations of the branch methodologies, standards and instructions. Illia further stepped forward as a Deputy Director on Science and Technical Development of the international Ukrainian-Kazakh-Russian Joint Enterprise keened to establish a sound basis in Ukraine for nuclear fuel fabrication. Key activities covered international procurement of dual purpose materials related to nuclear fuel fabrication, establishment of the quality management system at the enterprise including regular quality audits of the manufacturers, licensing, control and oversight of the production process, collecting and implementation in Ukraine of the best international practices of nuclear fuel fabrication process.
